At the invitation of Walnut Grove’s Family Festival, today Robynne was signing (and selling) copies of her books for the attendees of the festival.
Nonfiction Reading at Ashland University, Ashland, OH
Today Robynne read from one of her non-fiction works to the MFA class attending the summer residency at Ashland University held in Ashland, OH.
Finalist in Old World Wisconsin’s “Little House, Big Story” Competition
Robynne was a finalist in Old World Wisconsin’s “Little House, Big Story” competition, which was held in Eagle, WI to celebrate the 150th birthday of Wisconsin native Laura Ingalls Wilder.
The competition asked people to submit their own story of how Laura Ingalls Wilder inspired them to learn more about Wisconsin, history, or their own family stories. The winners were announced as part of their World of Little House event.
Presentation of The Three Faces of Nellie at Laurapalooza
Today Robynne was honored to give a presentation at Laurapalooza on “The Three Faces of Nellie” – following on from the publication of her book of the same name. The presentation gave background information on the three women that comprised Laura Ingalls Wilder’s “Nellie Oleson” character.

Robynne was one of the authors taking part in the book signing at Laurapalooza, 2017, which was held in Springfield, MO. Other authors present included such prominent names as William Anderson and Pamela Smith Hill.
